Kyoto Prefecture is incredibly beautiful, and for the longest time Kyoto City within the Kyoto prefecture was Japan's capital. Kyoto has a large number of old shrines and even contains what may be the oldes confectionary shop in the world. Ichimonjiya Wasuke was founded a thousand years ago. This rich history is the main draw of Kyoto. Although, Japanese food is always gonna be near the top of the list, between fish,chicken, wagyu, and noodles, no one forgets about the food. Kyoto also has the synonomous cherry blossoms during the spring, and other types of trees that drop many colors of petals.
Norway can be argued to have the most beautiful natural enviroment in the world, and very few people would put it below the top 5. Almost any picture of Norway's mountains just look gorgeous, it's elevated terrain just makes for imposing scenery that only a few countries, like New Zealand, can match The sunset image shown above is almost perfect, with the sun just peeking over a mountain and casting a ray of light across the lake. The quaint tows of Norway are another attraction, they have incredible sea food and are just simply nice, and a calming place to be. Even condsidering all of that. the aurora borealis may be the most beautiufl sight, with spectacular colors rolling across sky over the same beautiful mountains.
